Experience the thrills of whitewater rafting in South West England.
The River Dart, in Devon, has developed a great reputation for the sport and has all the facilities to match. Exmoor has the Barle and the Exe - challenging by anybody’s standards - not to mention countless other smaller waterways. The gentler stretches make ideal canoeing waters too.
Whitewater rafting is best experienced with a group of friends as each inflatable raft will hold up to 8 people. With your instructor, you will work as a team and work your way down the river negotiating the various obstacles that might be there. There a number of multi-activity operators in the South West who offer this experience. You will be given a safety briefing and guidance before being launched down the river. Make sure that you have a change of clothing awaiting for your return!
