Flying & Gliding
Get a bird's eye view of South West England and learn to fly!
Discover the exhilaration and satisfaction of learning to fly a light aircraft over the stunning scenery of South West England. This area has some of the best weather for flying and even in the depths of winter can provide excellent training conditions with good visibility and smooth air, without the pressure of busy summer skies.
You can book a trial flight where you will have the chance to take the controls and actually fly the aeroplane. Explore the countryside flying over famous sites and even photographing them!
In order to get your PPL (Private Pilot's Licence), you will need a minimum of 25 hours flying. However, it may take longer, as the aim is to be safe but also to have fun. You will need a simple NPPL (National Private Pilot's Licence) medical as well which lasts 5 years.
